Here at Speechlings Pediatric Therapy, our focus is providing access to excellent pediatric speech services to children and families in the area of Miami Lakes. Through personalized play-based therapy and evidence based practices paired with active caregiver participation, we can unlock the full potential of a child’s communication ability. Therapy is offered both in English and Spanish, catering to the predominantly Latino community in the beautiful city of Miami Lakes.

We offer office-based, school-based, and tele-health based therapy services. Additionally, we have free speech and language screenings as well as parent consultations, trainings, and SLP to SLP consultations available.

Requesting an Evaluation and

Starting Services Overview

    • After reaching out to Speechlings Pediatric Therapy, a comprehensive evaluation can be scheduled with a licensed clinician. The clinician will have you fill out a general intake and consent form as well as a case history form to get important information from you.

    • The evaluation can be conducted in office, at school, or via tele-health. Payment options will also be discussed at this point in the process.

    • Step-Up Scholarship or Private Pay options available. Reach out for more information on how to apply for this scholarship! We can guide you through the application process.

    • Once the evaluation is conducted and written up, a plan of care will be created identifying personalized goals based on the child’s areas of need to work on throughout therapy.

    • Once the evaluation and plan of care are complete, recurrent services can be scheduled in an office setting, at school, or via tele-health.

    • Home-based services are not available at this time.

    • Upon evaluation and plan of care completion, one-on-one therapy services can begin. You can specify where you would like services to be conducted. The frequency of services depends on evaluation findings and clinician recommendations.

    • Parents and caregivers will receive regular updates on their child’s progress and strategies to promote skill carry over outside of therapy sessions.

    • Parents are welcome and encouraged to schedule one-on-one parent trainings to improve understanding and support throughout the therapy process.
